One toolbox for everyday document and image jobs

FastPDFEdit grew out of a simple frustration: the small file tasks that fill an ordinary work day — shrinking a PDF so it clears an email limit, merging a few scans into one document, turning a phone photo into something a web page can actually load — usually mean juggling several different websites, each with its own pop-ups, sign-up walls, and watermarks. We pulled the most-used of those jobs into a single place so you can move from one to the next without creating an account or installing anything.

Everything here runs in your browser and is built around three principles. No sign-up: you should not have to hand over an email address to resize a picture. No watermark: the file you download is the file you uploaded, only changed the way you asked — nothing stamped on top. Files are removed automatically after processing, because the documents you compress and merge are often the ones you would least like to leave sitting on a stranger's server.

The tools are grouped by what you are trying to do — PDF work, image optimisation, quick calculators, and a few utilities for writers and developers — so you can scan straight to the task in front of you. None of them is meant to replace heavyweight professional software like Adobe Acrobat; they are meant for the 90% of jobs that do not need it, done quickly and for free.

New to a task? Our guides and tutorials walk through the practical details — how much you can realistically compress a scanned PDF, which image format to use for the web, and when a free tool is genuinely enough versus when it is worth paying for software.
